Leigh Kemp is a Bristol-based multi-dimensional artist. He designs and builds synthesizers and props, creates graphics and animates.
Leigh was creative from a young age, regularly making model planes, cars and villages out of cardboard. Eventually, he started repairing electronic and mechanical items learning many valuable skills in the process.
After leaving school, Leigh trained as a mechanical engineer at City of Bristol College, skills that he transferred to teach himself electronic engineering. Leigh is also able to repair and restore vintage synthesizers/audio equipment.
Gaining new skills and experiences is something Leigh has a passion for and he hopes to continue to build his portfolio with more exciting projects.
His work is inspired by retro designs of the 60/70/80's and modern industrial designs. He currently works as a product developer and technical assistant for Dubreq Ltd.
